This role is responsible for ensuring that all modular data centers, medium-voltage (MV) power distribution systems, and complex electrical sub-assemblies meet rigid technical specifications, regulatory standards, and corporate quality benchmarks.\nOperating on a fast-paced production floor, the Quality Technician cross-functionally collaborates with Engineering, Safety, and Production teams to mitigate risk, drive continuous improvement, and safeguard product reliability.\nWhat You'll Be Working On:\nEnd-to-End Quality Inspection & Testing: Conduct rigorous inspections and hands-on functional testing across a diverse equipment portfolio, ranging from component-level sub-assemblies to fully integrated systems.\n\nComponent-Level Scope: Verify compliance for enclosures, breaker panels, switchboards, MV switchgear, load centers, HVAC units, surge protection devices, and PLC/control wiring.\n\nSystem-Level Scope: Validate structural and electrical integrity for modular data center units, Power Distribution Centers (PDCs), and electrical houses (E-Houses).\n\nLive Power Testing & Commissioning: Perform operational commissioning, live power validation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and preliminary commissioning for complex electrical and control infrastructure.\n\nFunctional System Validation: Confirm total operational integrity across all system levels (including 24VDC, 415VAC, HMI, and ATS) to guarantee zero-defect delivery to the end user.\n\nDocumentation & Technical Output: Author comprehensive testing reports, compliance certificates, and maintain audit-ready documentation for both component and system-level builds.\n\nProcess Audits & Standardization: Conduct routine process audits of electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution integration, and final installation methodologies. Own and continuously optimize quality standard operating procedures (SOPs), testing matrixes, and training materials.\n\nCompliance & Engineering Alignment: Verify that all manufacturing execution adheres strictly to approved engineering drawings, schematics, NFPA 70E regulatory frameworks, LOTO protocols, and industry regulations.\n\nDefect Management & CAPA: Lead the identification, tagging, and resolution of material non-conformances and engineering deviations. Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams (DFM) to analyze defects, implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and eliminate recurring bottlenecks.\n\nWhat You'll Bring to the Team:\nElectrical Systems Expertise: Robust, hands-on experience with low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical installations, including PDCs, E-houses, and industrial control panels.\n\nRegulatory & Industry Standards: Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA 70B, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications.\n\nAdvanced Component Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), HMI systems, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).\n\nSchematic & Drawing Literacy: Advanced proficiency in reading, interpreting, and tracing complex electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and detailed engineering drawings.\n\nObjective Quality Decision-Making: Proven ability to maintain strict quality standards and firmly enforce compliance guidelines within high-throughput manufacturing environments.\n\nAnalytical Precision & Detail Orientation: Exceptional detail orientation with a proven track record of identifying micro-level anomalies in complex, macro-level assemblies.\n\nDigital Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and standard digital quality logging and QMS tools.\n\nOperational Agility & Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods on an active manufacturing floor, maneuver through modular units, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.\n\nProfessional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical defects clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and floor leadership.\n\nSafety & Screening Compliance: Position is designated as safety-sensitive.
