This role blends deep technical expertise with strong project management instincts to ensure Jira, Confluence, and related tools are optimized for collaboration, delivery, and service management. You’ll act as both platform owner and change agent driving innovation, best practices, and adoption as the business scales.\nWhat You’ll Be Working On\nOwning day-to-day administration and long-term strategy for the Atlassian suite, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Opsgenie, Product Discovery, and Statuspage\n\nCustomizing workflows, permissions, dashboards, and automation to improve project execution, visibility, and cross-team collaboration\n\nPartnering with project managers, business leaders, and IT teams to embed effective project management and ITSM practices within Atlassian tools\n\nDesigning advanced reporting and analytics using eazyBI, JQL, filters, CQL, and dashboards to support real-time decision-making\n\nActing as the escalation point for complex platform issues, working closely with Atlassian Support and internal Service Desk teams\n\nLeading platform enhancements by staying ahead of Atlassian’s roadmap and championing adoption of new features\n\nDriving AI initiatives within the Atlassian ecosystem, including building custom agents using Atlassian Rovo and implementing the Rovo MCP server\n\nCollaborating across IT to ensure reliability, security, and alignment with broader business objectives\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team\n3+ years of experience administering Atlassian Cloud environments in enterprise settings\n\nProven ownership of Jira and Confluence customization, site administration, and day-to-day operations\n\nAdvanced expertise in Jira project configuration, including workflows, permission schemes, issue security, issue types, field configurations, and project roles\n\nStrong command of Jira Query Language (JQL), Confluence Query Language (CQL), and eazyBI for advanced reporting\n\nExperience implementing and operating ITSM processes in Jira Service Management (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB/Assets)\n\nSolid understanding of RBAC, change control, release management, and system administration best practices\n\nExperience configuring authentication and authorization with Okta or similar IAM providers\n\nFamiliarity integrating Atlassian tools with other business systems and working with structured data formats (JSON, YAML)\n\nBonus Points\nAtlassian Cloud Professional certifications (ACP), with 2+ preferred\n\nExperience leading AI-driven initiatives within Atlassian, including Rovo agent development\n\nBackground managing large-scale Atlassian implementations or migrations\n\nExperience supporting external user access and complex security models\n\nPrior work in fast-growing or highly cross-functional organizations\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off & paid holidays\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $115,000 - $135,000 + Bonus.
