You will independently oversee test procedures, support documentation review, and serve as a go-to resource for field-level troubleshooting and issue resolution. This role bridges hands-on execution with emerging project leadership, and is designed for an engineer ready to take on broader responsibility and move toward full project ownership. (#INDDIG)\nWhat You'll Be Working On\nLead the execution of commissioning test procedures across assigned systems including pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and integrated systems tests.\n\nReview and provide input on commissioning test scripts, MOPs, punch lists, and turnover documentation.\n\nServe as a field-level technical resource for troubleshooting and resolving commissioning deficiencies across mechanical or controls disciplines.\n\nCoordinate with trade contractors and subcontractors to schedule, sequence, and support commissioning activities on-site.\n\nVerify installation conditions against approved drawings, submittals, and specifications to confirm readiness for testing.\n\nTrack and drive closure of open deficiencies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.\n\nSupport integrated systems testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, and BMS/EPMS infrastructure.\n\nParticipate in factory witness testing and startup validation activities as assigned.\n\nMaintain complete and accurate commissioning records, field reports, and turnover packages.\n\nMentor and provide technical guidance to Junior CxE team members in the field.\n\nEnsure adherence to Crusoe commission requirements and collect feedback from the field to improve the commissioning program.\n\nCommunicate progress, risks, and technical issues clearly to the management team.\n\nAdhere to and help enforce site safety protocols and compliance requirements throughout all commissioning phases.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n4+ years of experience in data center commissioning, building systems, or critical infrastructure construction.\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; equivalent field experience considered (CxA certification a plus).\n\nSolid understanding of data center systems including cooling infrastructure, and BMS systems.\n\nWorking knowledge of commissioning levels L1 through L5 and associated documentation and testing requirements.\n\nAbility to independently execute and troubleshoot functional and integrated system tests.\n\nProficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, single-line diagrams, submittals, and equipment specifications.\n\nStrong documentation habits with the ability to manage multiple open items accurately in a fast-paced field environment.\n\nEffective communicator with the ability to coordinate across trades, contractors, and internal project teams.\n\nWillingness to travel to project sites as required (75% travel).\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $115,000 -$140,000 + Bonus.
