You will have meaningful end-to-end ownership of the areas within your scope, from problem definition and product design through launch, validation, adoption, and continued improvement.\nThis is a deeply technical and hands-on product role. You will work closely with engineering to turn complex and ambiguous infrastructure problems into clear, durable product designs. You will define detailed behavior, examine edge cases and failure modes, make thoughtful product trade-offs, and ensure that what we ship works well for customers in practice, not only in a design document.\nSuccess in this role means raising the quality of both the product and the decisions behind it. You will combine technical depth, customer understanding, strong product judgment, and disciplined execution to build orchestration capabilities that customers can depend on for their most demanding AI workloads.\nWhat You'll Be Working On:\nOwn Major Orchestration Product Areas: Take end-to-end ownership of substantial product surfaces, including their roadmap, outcomes, priorities, quality, and continued improvement.\n\nDevelop Durable Technical Product Designs: Turn complex infrastructure problems into clear requirements and coherent system behavior, including APIs, lifecycle states, failure handling, upgrades, and customer controls.\n\nPartner Closely With Engineering: Work directly with engineers throughout discovery, design, implementation, and validation to resolve ambiguity and shape high-quality solutions.\n\nEstablish a High Product-Quality Bar: Pressure-test designs, evaluate working software, examine edge cases and failure modes, and ensure the product is ready before broad customer release.\n\nUnderstand Customers and Operators: Work with customers and internal teams to identify underlying problems and translate them into broadly useful, technically sound product improvements.\n\nMake Disciplined Product Investments: Prioritize work based on customer value, reliability, differentiation, engineering cost, and operational burden, then measure whether those investments delivered the intended results.\n\nCoordinate Across the Cloud Platform: Establish clear interfaces and responsibilities across infrastructure, networking, storage, identity, observability, capacity, and workload teams.\n\nCommunicate Clearly: Produce precise requirements and decision documents, and explain technical trade-offs and business implications to diverse stakeholders.\n\nWhat You'll Bring to the Team:\nAI and Machine Learning Infrastructure: You understand how training, fine-tuning, inference, checkpointing, and GPU-intensive workloads interact with orchestration systems.\n\nStrong Technical Fluency: Significant experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, workload orchestration, or related technologies.\n\nTechnical Product Management Experience: Five or more years of experience owning complex technical products or infrastructure initiatives from definition through delivery and iteration.\n\nSystems Thinking and Attention to Detail: The ability to reason through APIs, lifecycle states, failure modes, upgrades, operational workflows, and dependencies across distributed systems.\n\nStrong Product Judgment: The ability to balance customer value, reliability, engineering cost, operational complexity, and long-term maintainability when making product decisions.\n\nOwnership and Execution: A track record of independently driving ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives to clear decisions and high-quality outcomes.\n\nClear Communication and Collaboration: The ability to work closely with engineers, document decisions precisely, and create alignment across technical and nontechnical teams.\n\nBonus Points:\nHigh-Performance Computing: You have experience with HPC environments, Slurm or similar workload managers, specialized networking, or large accelerator clusters.\n\nInfrastructure Operations: You have operated or supported production infrastructure and understand the impact of product decisions on reliability, upgrades, debugging, and incident response.\n\nBuilder Orientation: You enjoy using infrastructure products directly, examining APIs, and experimenting with systems to develop grounded product opinions.\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of $170,000 to $205,000 + Bonus.
