This role sits within the Digital Infrastructure Group's Engineering team, dedicated full-time to Spark deployment execution. You'll support project and site-level engineering across active deployments, coordinating with the design engineering function on mechanical, thermal, and controls scope while owning execution, site planning, and vendor coordination at the project level. This role augments the team's general engineering capacity. This is an in-office role, five days a week, based out of one of Crusoe's office locations.\nWhat You'll Be Working On\nSupport site layout, planning, design, and execution for small- to medium-scale data center deployment projects\n\nSupport the mechanical and controls design, specification, and equipment selection\n\nCoordinate site-level infrastructure deployment methodologies, including chillers,transformers, UPS solutions etc…\n\nWork with internal & external design and construction partners to execute projects, and coordinate with internal stakeholders\n\nSupport the mechanical and thermal rollout as Spark evolves from air-cooled baselines\n\nto next-generation high-density liquid-cooled architectures, executing against designs\n\nrather than authoring them Serve as a dedicated Spark deployment resource, for project-level engineering work.\n\nWhat You'll Bring to the Team\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field\n\n5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with exposure to chilled water systems\n\nand equipment, air cooling, and HVAC\n\nExperience with control strategies and sequence of operations for mechanical systems\n\nIndustrial or mission critical experience is required\n\nData Center experience is preferred, but not required\n\nExperience executing or managing chilled water system installations and central\n\nequipment (chillers, pumps, etc) at the project or site level\n\nWorking proficiency with CAD tools (Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam) for reviewing and\n\ncoordinating design documents\n\nWorking knowledge of relevant mechanical codes and standards (ICC, ASME B31.x,\n\nASHRAE guidelines, NFPA standards)\n\nComfortable partnering across hardware, software, design engineering, and construction teams to execute deployment projects on schedule\n\nBonus Points\nExperience with modular building deployment or construction\nFamiliarity with BIM workflows and full-lifecycle drawing packages (30/60/90/100%)\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $145,000 -$200,000 + Bonus.
