You will own the full commissioning lifecycle - from factory witness testing through integrated systems testing and formal turnover - ensuring all electrical, and EPMS systems are delivered in alignment with design intent, Owner Project Requirements, and Crusoe's operational readiness standards. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage third-party commissioning agents and vendors with minimal oversight. (#INDDIG)\nWhat You'll Be Working On\nServe as the on-site electrical subject matter expert for all commissioning activities, serving as the primary escalation point for technical issues across all project phases.\n\nReview contractor submittals, shop drawings, and O&M documentation to ensure alignment with design intent and project specifications.\n\nEnsure Owner Project Requirements (OPR) remain aligned with commissioning scope throughout the project lifecycle, tracking changes and maintaining traceability to project objectives.\n\nOversee third-party commissioning agents (CxA), including scope development, performance management, deliverable tracking, and activity oversight such as factory witness testing and startup validation.\n\nIdentify equipment requiring factory testing and coordinate with the procurement team to schedule vendor testing activities.\n\nReview and validate factory test procedures for compliance with project specifications prior to execution; oversee Factory Witness Testing (FWT) for off-site manufactured equipment.\n\nReview and approve commissioning documentation including the Cx Plan, L2-L5 test scripts, reports, and turnover packages.\n\nOversee quality control processes including first-of-kind inspections and installation validation.\n\nDrive issue identification, troubleshooting, remediation, and formal closure across all commissioning phases.\n\nEnsure all commissioning activities - both static and dynamic testing - align with approved plans and performance standards.\n\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration between construction, engineering, controls, and operations teams throughout all project phases.\n\nManage stakeholder expectations by clearly defining commissioning processes, roles, and levels of engagement.\n\nEnsure all commissioning documentation is complete, accurate, and supports a clean project turnover.\n\nSupport transition to operations by providing technical guidance, training coordination, and post-handover support as required.\n\nEnforce safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements across all commissioning activities.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n7+ years of experience in data center commissioning, construction, or critical infrastructure delivery.\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent commissioning experience considered (CxA certification a plus).\n\nDeep knowledge of commissioning levels L1 through L5 and the associated documentation and testing requirements at each phase.\n\nHands-on experience with data center systems including power distribution and EPMS infrastructure.\n\nProven experience managing third-party commissioning agents and holding vendors accountable to scope, schedule, and quality.\n\nAbility to review and interpret technical documentation including construction drawings, single-line diagrams, submittals, and test procedures.\n\nStrong cross-functional coordination skills with the ability to align construction, engineering, controls, and operations teams around commissioning objectives.\n\nExperience with issue tracking, risk management, and project reporting across multiple concurrent workstreams.\n\nSolid understanding of safety and compliance requirements within active construction and commissioning environments.\n\nWillingness to travel to project sites as required (75% travel).\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $140,000 -$170,000 + Bonus.
