The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production environments. You will work primarily with AWS, Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD technologies to ensure our applications are deployed reliably, securely, and efficiently. You will work closely with software engineers and other technical teams to improve system reliability, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS.\nManage and maintain Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters and Kubernetes workloads.\nDeploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.\nImplement and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily with Terraform.\nMonitor system health, application performance, infrastructure metrics, logs, and alerts.\nTroubleshoot production issues across AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and application deployments.\nAutomate repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment and infrastructure processes.\nImplement appropriate security, access control, secrets management, and infrastructure best practices.\nSupport application scaling, high availability, disaster recovery, and production reliability.\nCollaborate with developers to improve application deployment, configuration, and operational reliability.\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.\nMonitor and optimize AWS infrastructure usage and cloud costs.\nMaintain clear documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, troubleshooting procedures, and operational runbooks.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nProven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, SRE, or similar role.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.\nPractical experience managing Amazon EKS and Kubernetes in production environments.\nStrong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, namespaces, and resource management.\nHands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.\nStrong experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with Git and version control systems such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.\nGood understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar technologies.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.\nUnderstanding of AWS networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, security groups, IAM, load balancers, and DNS.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with software engineers and cross-functional, remote teams.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience with AWS production environments and large-scale EKS clusters.\nExperience with Helm and Kubernetes package management.\nExperience with Argo CD, GitOps, or similar deployment technologies.\nExperience with AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and KMS.\nExperience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and CloudFront.\nExperience with Kubernetes security, networking, and cluster optimization.\nKnowledge of high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.\nExperience
