This position is responsible to achieve current resort Guest Satisfaction Standards in cleanliness and service on a consistent basis.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nClean guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges. \nSweep, scrub, mop and polish floors.\nVacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies.\nDust and polish furniture and fittings.\nClean exterior entrances, decks, and furniture to include BBQ grills. \nEmpty and clean trash and recycling containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.\nClean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers \nDistribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand.\nRestock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies and in-room literature.\nReport Unit Inventory variances to Team Leader after each cleaning.\nKeep housekeeping storage area and vehicle stocked and orderly at all times.\nReplace dirty linens with clean items and make beds following resort protocol.\nRealign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.\nStore all dirty laundry in line with company policy\nRespond to guest queries and requests\nDeliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms\nEnsure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.\nFollow all company safety and security procedures.\nReport any maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damage of property.\nFollow lost and found procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Specifications\nCompetencies:\nGood communication skills including the ability to listen carefully and ask the right questions to gain clarification.\nIntegrity including honesty and high ethical standards.\nAttention to detail.\nHave high work standards including the ability to meet performance standards without supervision.\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred\nPhysical & Other Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand;
