This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, great employee benefits and an outstanding work environment. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.\nYou will provide team leadership for the design and construction of horizontal airfield projects in Florida and across the U.S. The position is in our Orlando, Florida office (located in downtown Orlando near Thornton Park). You will lead project management efforts on large/complex engineering projects including budgets, resource alignment, client relations, quality, scheduling, and business development.\nResponsibilities include administration of consultant/sub-consultant agreements, resolving critical issues/policy matters and presenting new concepts. The Sr. Project Engineer oversees and/or coordinates project staff and maintenance of group utilization numbers as they relate to projects & timelines. Opportunities exist to lead/support other projects in offices across the country.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\n8 years total of related experience. Experience in large/regional airfield design/construction including the knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations a plus.\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering\nProfessional Engineering (PE) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)\nExisting relationships with strategic clients a plus.\nStrong communications skills.\nAutoCAD and Civil3D experience\nSkills to effectively lead and work in large and small multidisciplinary team environments.\nAbility to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress\nUtilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.\nCommunicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified. \nEstimated Compensation Range: $135,000 - $170,000/year*\nLearn about our comprehensive Benefits\n*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.\nWHO WE ARE: C&S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
