By encouraging employees to bring their whole selves to work, we create a diverse and equitable environment where all our voices are heard.\nPosition Overview\nC&S Companies is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager for Commercial Industrial type projects to assist the Project Management and Pre-Construction team in coordinating and administration of general contracting construction projects. Areas of focus will be subcontract scope reviews, Project submittals, RFI's coordination, contract support, change orders, scheduling, construction progress tracking and capabilities with econstruction systems.\nResponsibilities\nFull time onsite representation\nAssist the Project Manager, Site Superintendent, in coordination and communication requirements for project administration.\nMaintain project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager through managing submittal approvals, RFIs, coordination the timely delivery of materials (procurement)\nManage submittal log and coordinate submittals and coordination drawings with subcontractors and the Superintendent.\nManage, direct, coordinate the subcontractor’s compliance with the Contract Documents as delegated by the Project Manager.\nAssist with the scopes of work, bid package development and coordinate scope validation.\nDistribute proposal change documents to subcontractors/suppliers and assist in collecting pricing and/or prepare change proposal requests for internal pricing review.\nBe responsible for compiling and submitting owner-required close-out documents as well as assist subcontractors/suppliers in scheduling owner-required training and documentation.\nManage all meeting minutes, agenda distribution and logs within Procore management systems.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nBasic knowledge of the construction industry and construction principles/practices.\nAbility to interpret construction plans, specifications, and scope of services.\nBasic knowledge of construction drawings, contract documents, construction sequencing \nBluebeam and procore system experience required.\nMS project scheduling experience is required.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment while reporting to office daily.\nAbility to travel as necessary for specific assignment work.\nRequired Education & Experience.\nProject Engineering experience with commercial New Build General Contractor\n3- 5 years working as a administrative support role for new build medium to large construction projects\nProcore experience, a plus\nExperience with Pre-Engineered Metals Buildings, or large-scale commercial products, a plus\nBachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management, a plus\nPrevious field experience or working on site specific new building, a plus.\nEstimated Compensation Range: $90,000 - $115,000/year*\n*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.\nWHO WE ARE: C&S Companies is a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, planning, and construction firm with more than 50 years of experience delivering projects for public and private clients across the United States.
