This role provides deep subject matter expertise in the ViewPoint security model, configuration, data structures, reporting, and bulk data updates, acting as the primary technical authority for the application within operations.The salary range for this role is €75,000 - €85,000. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, internal parity, and location, in line with our objective and equitable compensation framework.\nA core requirement of this role is strong Microsoft SQL Server capability, used to support complex troubleshooting, data analysis, reporting, and controlled data updates.\nThe role partners closely with business users, vendor support, and internal technology teams to resolve complex issues, support business change, and ensure the application is used securely, accurately, and efficiently in a regulated financial services environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide Tier 2 support for ViewPoint, resolving complex incidents and service requests escalated from Tier 1\nDiagnose issues across application configuration, data, reporting, and security layers\nManage incidents through to resolution, ensuring clear documentation and stakeholder communication\nOwn and administer the ViewPoint security model, including: Role-based access control, Segregation of duties, and data ringfencing\nEnhance and maintain ViewPoint configuration to support evolving business requirements\nAssess the impact of configuration changes and ensure operational readiness\nSupport testing and validation of configuration changes prior to production deployment\nProvide advanced SQL support for ViewPoint, including:Writing and analysing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views etc.\nInvestigating data integrity, reconciliation, and reporting issues\nSupporting extracts and operational reporting\n\nPerform controlled data fixes and updates in line with change management and audit requirements\nPerform bulk data updates, uploads, and corrections using approved tools and processes\nValidate data accuracy and completeness following updates\nInvestigate data issues, reconciliations, and discrepancies raised by the business\nEnsure data changes comply with governance, audit, and change management standards\nSupport and maintain ViewPoint reporting, including standard and ad-hoc reports\nTroubleshoot reporting issues related to data quality, permissions, or configuration\nWrite and prepare reports and other materials for internal and external audiences.\nWork with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions\nIntegrate data from multiple data sets via APIs and/or data layer integrations, analyse and interpret complex data sets and make findings relevant and actionable for both internal and external stakeholders.\nParticipate in major incidents involving ViewPoint, providing application-level expertise\nLead or contribute to root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact issues\nSupport application releases, vendor patches, and upgrades, including pre- and post-deployment validation\nLiaise with Quantios support to escalate defects, track resolutions, and apply fixes\nCreate and maintain ViewPoint-specific runbooks, configuration guides, and support documentation\nDocument security models, data processes, and reporting logic\nContribute to knowledge transfer and support readiness across the wider team\nIdentify opportunities to improve ViewPoint stability, usability, and support efficiency\nRecommend enhancements to processes, controls, and automation where appropriate\nStay current with ViewPoint functionality, vendor updates, and best practices\nRequired Skills & Experience :\nStrong hands-on experience supporting ViewPoint (Quantios) in a production environment\nDeep understanding of:ViewPoint security and access control model\nApplication configuration and administration\nUnderlying data structures and reporting\nBulk data update processes and controls\n\nAdvanced Microsoft SQL Server skills, including:Complex querying and data analysis\nPerformance troubleshooting and optimization\nReporting and data extract support\nExperience using SSIS or other integration/ETL tools\n\nStrong analytical skills for troubleshooting data and reporting issues\nTypically 5+ years of experience in application support\nDemonstrated experience operating in a Tier 2 application support role\nExperience supporting applications in a financial services or regulated environment is strongly preferred\nRecognized subject-matter expert with a high level of ownership and accountability\nStrong communication skills, able to engage confidently with business users and auditors\nDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and risk management\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience\nITIL Foundation or
