The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fulfillment center, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders, managing a team of fulfillment center associates, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.\nThis position works the second shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30p-10:00p) and reports into the Team Operations Manager.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nBe a positive influence on the team\nDirect employees to the work in order to maintain the flow of the operations.\nMust spend 90% of worked time coaching and developing on the floor with employees, The other 10% should be for office/clerical work\nProficient in department specific SOPs\nBe able to deal with pressure of meeting production schedules by planning and prioritizing fulfillment/customer needs.\nParticipate in team meetings, receive instructions, and provide feedback as appropriate\nCoach employees on job-specific tasks\nComputer usage, including maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets, Warehouse Management System and internet\nRead and audit labels\nAnalyze inventory and problems to initiate a resolution\nCompile and send out end-of-day reports\nCommunicate effectively in person and via email (Outlook)\nUse handheld to scan and process inventory\nIdentify, count and sort packages and inventory with high level of accuracy\nTrain new employees\nUse internal ticketing system, Jira, to log problems and expedite resolution\nOperate pallet jack\nUse automated packaging equipment\nMaintain a clean workspace\nComplete and maintain forklift certification training (if trained and active forklift operator)\nOther duties as assigned\nParticipate in LEAN initiatives\nParticipate in company events\nBe a department Champion; able to assist Supervisor in answering questions and department supervision.\nBe able to support the GOAT Code as well as fulfillment leadership competencies.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrefer high school diploma or equivalency\n3 months experience in fulfillment center\n3 months experience as a Merchandise Processor\nVerbal and written comprehension of the English language required\nBasic math skills required\nMust be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions\nMust be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames\nMust be able to deal with the pressure of meeting production schedules\nComputer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email required \nPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:\n The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
