You'll spend your time packing orders and loading packages into trailers, which means you should be comfortable with constant standing, frequent bending, and repetitive lifting. If you're someone who prefers hands-on work over sitting at a desk, this is a great fit.\nThree Shifts Available:\n·AM- Mon-Fri, 6:30a-3:00p, $16.00/hr,\n·PM- Mon-Fri, 1:30p-10:00p, $16/hr + $1.85/hr shift differential = $17.85/hr.\n· WKN- Sat-Tue, 6:30a-5:00p, $16/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential = $18.00/hr.\nOur shifts are NOT flexible, meaning if you are unable to work the entire shift, we are unable to hire you.\nSeasonal Position Info:\n·Yes! We do often convert our high-performing seasonal employees to regular status, these decisions are based on business demands and performance.\n·Seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits; however, you do get to participate in our employee discount perk and it's a good one!\nOvertime: Occasionally, overtime may be required to support operational demands. When this happens, overtime is typically scheduled as follows:\n·AM Shift: May begin up to 1 hour earlier than the standard start time\n·PM Shift: May extend up to 1 hour beyond the usual end time\n·Weekend Shift: May include an additional day, as shifts are already 10-12 hours\nPlease note that all scheduling, including overtime, is subject to change based on business needs and volume fluctuations. We appreciate your flexibility and commitment in helping us meet customer expectations.\nBlackout Dates & Holiday Information: Our warehouse will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day; and we typically work shorter hours on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. To support our busiest season, our Backcountry fulfillment centers have a blackout period for time off requests. The blackout period is typically from November 23rd through December 4th. During this blackout period, time off requests cannot be approved.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nStand and walk for your entire shift \nRead and Audit Labels \nIdentify, count, and sort packages and inventory with a high level of accuracy \nUnderstand and differentiate between shipping methods and sort packages accordingly \nUse automated packaging equipment \nParticipate in team meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback as appropriate \nMaintain a clean workspace \nFixing problems that occur to ensure inventory and/or shipping accuracy\nResolving inventory issues by adjusting inventory\nPerform other duties as assigned \nParticipate in LEAN initiatives\nQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nPrefer high school diploma or equivalency\nVerbal and written comprehension of the English language required\nFundamental math skills required\nMust be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions\nMust be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames\nComputer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email required\nExperience operating power industrial equipment (for example, standing order picker or forklift)\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:\n The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
