In this role, the consultant will support the design, configuration, implementation, testing, and sustainment of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management solutions that modernize and optimize procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with federal standards and SAP best practices.\nResponsibilities\nConfigure and support SAP S/4HANA MM functionality, including procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master data, valuation, and vendor management processes\n\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs, system configurations, and technical specifications\n\nSupport end-to-end business process integration across SAP modules including Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)\n\nParticipate in Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process design sessions, and solution demonstrations\n\nDevelop Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documentation, test scripts, user guides, and training materials\n\nExecute and support unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing activities\n\nCollaborate with developers to define requirements for enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, and data conversions\n\nSupport data migration activities, including material masters, vendor records, purchasing documents, inventory data, and pricing information\n\nAssist with release planning, deployments, and post-production support activities\n\nTroubleshoot functional issues and provide Tier II/Tier III production support\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives\n\nSupport cybersecurity, audit, compliance, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities as required\n\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be substituted\n\n5+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience\n\nExperience implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA environments\n\nStrong understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master data, vendor master data, source determination, valuation, and physical inventory processes\n\nExperience developing functional specifications for custom SAP enhancements and integrations\n\nExperience supporting testing, defect resolution, and production support activities\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance\n\nCreativity and adaptability in problem-solving\nAbility to work with clients to understand their needs\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProfessional presence\nPreferred Skills\nExperience supporting Department of War, defense, or other Federal ERP modernization programs\nSAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Materials Management certification\nExperience with SAP Activate implementation methodology\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies\nExperience integrating SAP MM with SAP Ariba, EWM, TM, FI/CO, and SD\nFamiliarity with SAP Fiori applications\nExperience with SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Cloud ALM\nKnowledge of transportation, logistics, supply chain modernization, and enterprise business processes\nActive Secret clearance\nAbility to work in a team environment, as well as independently\nStrong customer and vendor relationship skills\nDemonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies\nMotivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value\nPast experience working with a federal government agency\nDepartment of War experience is a plus!\nAbout CSCI\nCSCI is an award-winning information technology and financial management consulting firm founded on one simple philosophy: “Do what is right, always.” We apply this philosophy across all elements of our growing business, from delivering world-class services for customers to providing an environment where associates thrive both personally and professionally.
