The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and reliability of Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and cloud-based infrastructure platforms. In this role, you will partner with infrastructure teams, enterprise architects, application support personnel, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available technology solutions while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nAdminister and support enterprise infrastructure environments, including VMware virtual machines, Oracle Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex server, infrastructure, and application issues independently and within established service level agreements\nInstall, configure, maintain, and support Microsoft Active Directory Services infrastructure\nManage and maintain Salesforce-related user accounts and access controls\nMonitor platform performance, capacity, utilization, and overall system health to maximize availability and reliability\nAdminister DHCP, DNS, IIS, sFTP, and other critical infrastructure services\nSupport and manage cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure environments\nCollaborate with Enterprise Architecture and cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions\nMaintain server hardware and software inventories, configurations, and technical documentation\nParticipate in database design, implementation, and support activities\nImplement and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures across infrastructure environments\nManage Windows Server security configurations, vulnerability remediation, and patch management activities\nProvision and administer user accounts, credentials, permissions, and access controls\nSupport web portals, middleware platforms, infrastructure applications, APIs, monitoring solutions, and network services\nFacilitate deployment of application updates, enhancements, and infrastructure changes across environments\nDevelop recommendations for operational improvements and infrastructure optimization\nSupport incident management activities, including root cause analysis and service restoration efforts\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backup failures and disaster recovery issues\nRespond to infrastructure monitoring alerts and performance concerns\nManage and resolve customer support tickets, requests, and escalated technical issues\nParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting critical business systems during evenings, weekends, and holidays\nContribute to system architecture planning, infrastructure modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives\nDevelop and maintain operational procedures, configuration standards, and disaster recovery documentation\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience\n5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise server environments in production\nStrong experience with Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems\nExperience administering and supporting VMware vSphere and virtualized infrastructure environments\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services\nWorking knowledge of SQL scripting and database concepts\nExperience supporting DHCP, DNS, IIS, sFTP, and related infrastructure services\nKnowledge of NAS and SAN storage technologies and connectivity concepts\nUnderstanding of domain and forest administration, networking fundamentals, and routing/switching concepts\nExperience with performance monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization\nBasic to intermediate proficiency with shell scripting and automation\nExperience troubleshooting server, application, and infrastructure issues in production environments\nAbility to design, document, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate technical requirements\nExperience communicating technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nCreativity and adaptability in technologies, including Docker\nExperience implementing and supporting analytics and reporting platforms such as Looker\nIntermediate proficiency with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages for automation and integration\nExperience with infrastructure automation and configuration management practices\nKnowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles\nExperience managing relationships with cloud providers and managed service vendors\nExperience working within an ITIL-based service management framework\nUnderstanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions\nRelevant Linux certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+, or equivalent\nMicrosoft, VMware, Azure, or cloud infrastructure certifications\nExperience supporting financial services,
