For highly motivated students, the internship may lead to a publication at a top-tier conference such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, or AAAI.\nEnrollment in a Computer Science or Engineering program at ETH is mandatory.\nYour responsibilities\nContribute to the development of an AI agent designed to analyze and interpret industrial data for our clients.\nDesign and implement proof-of-concept solutions and demonstrators for various predictive analytics projects in collaboration with the team based in Alpnach.\nEngage in academic research activities together with our PhD student, advancing knowledge and innovation in the field of LLM and Agentic AI.\nAssist the team in various tasks.\nYour profile\nBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Neuroinformatics, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.\nKnow-how\nRequirements:\nAbility to work on-site in Alpnach, Switzerland, at least three times a week.\nStrong proficiency in Python.\nEnrollment in a Computer Science or Engineering program at ETH.\nFamiliarity with Git and Linux (Bash, SSH, etc.)\nTheoretical knowledge of machine learning (e.g., completion of Introduction to Machine Learning or equivalent)\nStrong background in Computer Science\nDemonstrated research experience Large Language Models (LLMs) or computer vision\nProficiency in Python\nStrong English-speaking skills required, German speaking skills a plus\nPreferred qualifications (one or more):\nDemonstrated experience in building and deploying actively used applications.\nProven experience with agentic applications.\nResearch experience in machine learning or computer vision (e.g., publications).\nExperience with customer-facing tasks (presentations, slides, emails).\nGerman language proficiency (C1).\nInterpersonal skills\nDriven and motivated\nGood communication skills\nHighly collaborative\nFlexible and adaptable thinking / operating style\nCSEM mission and values\nWe believe in a future that is imagined, shared, and created TOGETHER.\nAt CSEM, we don’t just innovate, we envision technologies that shape tomorrow.\nSince 1984, our purpose has remained constant: to harness science and technology for the benefit of society.
