The Application Architect I contributes to architectural governance and solution quality.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign architecture for individual applications or application suites, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.\n\nDevelop technical specifications, design documents, and application models.\n\nEnsure application architectures adhere to enterprise architecture principles, technology standards, and security guidelines.\n\nProvide technical guidance to development teams throughout the application lifecycle.\n\nCollaborate with solution and enterprise architects to ensure appropriate integration with other systems, services, and data sources.\n\nConduct performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability reviews for assigned applications.\n\nResearch, evaluate, and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to application development.\n\nMentor developers on design principles, coding best practices, and architectural patterns.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).\n\n7-10 years of software development experience.\n\nStrong understanding of application design patterns, architectural best practices, and integration approaches.\n\nProficiency in major programming languages, development frameworks, and modern application stacks.\n\nExperience with relational and/or NoSQL database design, performance tuning, and data modeling.\n\nFamiliarity with user experience (UX) considerations and how they influence application design.\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to balance technical constraints with business requirements and user needs.\n\nAs a forward-thinking software provider, Computer Services, Inc.
