You'll also have opportunities to explore contemporary approaches, including AI-assisted analysis and rapid prototyping, to help stakeholders discover what's possible and improve how we deliver solutions.\nJoining our Enterprise Data, Analytics & Integration team, you'll work alongside experienced specialists and develop your capabilities as we evolve our enterprise data and analytics services.\nHigh-level duties include:\nBusiness discovery and requirements: Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, question assumptions and translate needs into clear requirements and potential solutions.\nAnalytics and data storytelling: Explore analytical questions and contribute to dashboards, visualisations, rapid prototypes and other information solutions that support better decisions.\nData validation and testing: Investigate data, document business rules and undertake testing and reconciliation to ensure accurate, fit-for-purpose solutions.\nStakeholder collaboration: Build relationships, facilitate discussions and communicate insights and recommendations across business and technical teams.\nContinuous improvement: Contribute to evolving BA practices through AI-assisted analysis, automation, reusable approaches and effective documentation.\nRole particulars\nLocation and office arrangements: Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Hobart\nSalary: AU$100K - AU$113K per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation\nTenure & work schedule: Specified Term of 3 years, Full Time\nReference: 104300\nAs the successful candidate, you will bring:\nEssential criteria\nDemonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, business process analysis or a related discipline, preferably supporting reporting, analytics, data or technology initiatives.\nAbility to investigate stakeholder needs, question assumptions and communicate business requirements through appropriate artefacts such as user stories, process maps, functional specifications or acceptance criteria.\nDemonstrated analytical thinking, curiosity and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate data and business problems, evaluate information and identify practical solutions.\nExperience undertaking testing, data validation or quality assurance activities to support the delivery of accurate, reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, explain information clearly and work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, adapt to changing requirements and develop new skills or approaches to achieve business outcomes.\nThis role has child safety obligations. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to obtain and provide evidence that they hold a valid paid/employee (not volunteer) Working with Children/ Vulnerable People Check prior to confirmation of appointment. \nDesirable\nExperience with business intelligence, reporting or data visualisation, including dashboard design, meaningful performance measures or communicating insights through data.
