The role will undertake early partnering discussions, support substantial impact and revenue opportunities, and coordinate with Partnerships & Business Development colleagues and other Enterprise Units on prioritised projects.\nYour high-level duties will include:\nContribute to and implement a Partnerships & Business Development strategy that drives impactful innovation and science.\nPartner with researchers across boundaries to grow CSIRO's partnering and business development activities, including partnerships with universities, industry and government.\nRepresent CSIRO in stakeholder engagements and engage strategically with priority industry and government relationships.\nDevelop and implement business development plans and partnerships aligned with short-term requirements and long-term strategy.\nRole particulars\nLocation and office arrangements: Melbourne (Clayton).\nSalary: AU$135,571 to AU$158,863 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus 15.4% superannuation.\nTenure and work schedule: Specified term of 3 years.\nReports to: Senior Business Development Manager One Health - Partnering & Business Development\nJob reference: 104270\nAs the successful candidate, you will bring:\nEssential criteria snapshot\nDemonstrated business development experience in the biomanufacturing sector, specifically biotherapeutics and working with small and medium-sized enterprises.\nA relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant science area, and/or business and commercial qualifications.\nDemonstrated business acumen in scaling, business modelling, technology commercialisation and negotiating successful multi-stakeholder partnerships.\nStrong relationship management, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across organisational levels.\nDemonstrated project management experience, including planning, engagement, monitoring and reporting to meet specified outcomes and timeframes.\nFor full details about this role, and the complete selection criteria, please review the Position Description.\nUnder CSIRO policy, only those who meet all essential criteria can be appointed.\nSetting you up for success\nWe understand that not everyone works in the same way and sometimes people may require reasonable support and adjustments to perform at their best.
