Many of our iconic innovations were once considered impossible until someone, just like you, joined us and took on the challenge.\nVisit CSIRO.au and CDSCC for more information.\nThe opportunity\nThe Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) supports ground-based spacecraft telecommunications as part of the international National Aeronautic Space Administration (NASA) Deep Space Network (DSN), under contractual arrangements between NASA and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).\nJoin the ICT team at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex and contribute to the reliable delivery of technology services supporting NASA’s Deep Space Network.\nIn this hands-on role, you will provide ICT support across desktop and laptop systems, servers, network infrastructure, critical communications, collaboration tools, data storage, physical security systems and cyber security services. You will be a key contact for ICT enquiries, diagnosing and resolving first-level issues while escalating more complex matters when required.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable and customer-focused ICT professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies and working collaboratively across a diverse range of technical activities. You will join a multi-skilled team where your ideas, initiative and commitment to continuous improvement will be valued.\nThe role is available on an indefinite basis, with full-time or part-time arrangements from 0.6 to 0.9 FTE available.
