Many of our iconic innovations were once considered impossible until someone, just like you, joined us and took on the challenge.\nVisit CSIRO.au for more information.\nThe opportunity\nAs the Unified Communications Mobile Specialist, you’ll manage, support and optimise CSIRO’s mobile telecommunications services, acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and Telstra.\nYou’ll oversee mobile services and devices, procurement, billing and reporting, while driving automation, process improvements and better ways of working. Supporting a diverse mobile fleet of around 2,500 connected devices across smartphones, tablets, mobile broadband and IoT services, you’ll help deliver reliable telecommunications services to approximately 5,500 of our CSIRO staff.\nHigh-level duties include:\nManage the lifecycle of mobile services and devices, from provisioning and deployment through to retirement.\nImprove mobile self-service, automation, reporting and customer experience.\nMonitor expenditure, billing and service utilisation to identify cost-saving opportunities.\nMaintain strong mobile asset governance, data accuracy and compliance.\nPartner with Telstra and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and continuously improve service delivery.\nRole particulars\nLocation and office arrangements: Black Mountain, Canberra ACT\nSalary: AU$100,103 - AU$113,251 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation\nTenure & work schedule: Indefinite\nReference: 104449\nAs the successful candidate, you will bring:\nEssential criteria\nProven experience in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures within a Unified Communications environment.\nStrong knowledge and practical experience with Mobile and Telephony Deployments.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with team members to support UC projects and initiatives with competing priorities.\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills, including cooperation with other teams and industry colleagues to achieve organizational objectives.\nExcellent influence and communication skills, including adapting presentations and discussions to suit the audience and anticipating reactions.\nDesirable\nExperience with Unified Communications Technologies such as webcasting, video conferencing, IP Telephony, Mobile Device and Applications Management\nFor full details about this role, and other criteria, please review the Position Description.\nNot sure if you meet all the criteria?\nWhile it is CSIRO policy that the successful candidate must meet all the essential criteria, there are many ways to demonstrate this.
