We believe in technology as a critical enabler to allow organisations to achieve more.\nWe are looking for a designer who excels in distilling complex user workflows and crafting coherent experiences, to lead the design of new and existing products.\nResponsibilities\nSolving complex interaction problems, humanise product ideas and develop these into elegant application design \nOwn the end-to-end design process, in close partnership with product managers and engineers, to create and rapidly iterate on concepts through design exploration, ideation and user validation\nDrive appropriate user research activities such as discovery interviews, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, post-launch feedback, metrics review, and the translation of research insights into actionable recommendations\nBalance between the practicalities of user requirements and business needs\nAlign the execution of design with the rest of the product and design organisation\nPresent design solutions to stakeholders, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle\nBuild design capabilities amongst product team members, through collaboration, storytelling, and digital evangelism\nRequirements (Minimum Qualifications)\nBackground in disciplines related to digital product design or development.\nMinimum 5+ years of professional experience designing solutions for software applications\nStrong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design, and with a mind for simplicity of design\nProven expertise turning complex business problems into simple and engaging design concepts\nProactive self-starter, and capable of communicating and prototyping interactions at all levels of resolution\nFamiliarity with modern digital design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma)\nGood awareness of software development processes and frontend development technologies\nRequirements (Preferred qualifications)\nBackground in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\nPrior experience helping others grow in design proficiency will be an added advantage\nWe know that applying to a new role takes a lot of time and effort. To facilitate the process, a link to your professional portfolio, showcasing a few functional designs that you have developed, is required as part of your application. Please do detail your role and involvement in these projects.
