In this laboratory-based role, you will contribute to the development, validation and conduct of compliant bioassays, including PK, ADA, biomarker and flow cytometry assays. Your work will generate critical scientific data supporting the progression of CSL’s clinical development portfolio.\nWorking within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will apply your scientific expertise to deliver high-quality assays and data while maintaining strong scientific and regulatory standards.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Senior Scientist/Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:\nConduct assay development, validation and sample analysis.\nTroubleshoot assays and inform on next steps during the assay development phase\nAnalyse experimental data using established workflows and prepare relevant SOPs.\nSupport the progression of projects from concept through to clinical development.\nApply best practice in experimental design, data analysis and laboratory compliance, including OECD GLP and ISO 17025 requirements.\nCommunicate scientific results clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.\nSupport internal and external research activities, including wet-lab due diligence activities.\nEvaluate emerging scientific trends and technologies and support the integration of novel approaches.\nCollaborate with cross-functional CSL R&D teams, academic institutions, industry experts and external collaborators to support project progression and effective risk management.\nYour Skills and Experience\nYour Skills and Experience\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nA bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Immunology, Biochemistry or a related discipline, or relevant equivalent experience.\nMinimum 3 years’ laboratory experience with training in a relevant technical discipline such as cellular biology or analytical sciences.\nExpertise in the design, generation and optimisation of laboratory assays for the analysis of molecular therapeutics.\nStrong technical skills cross ligand-binding platforms, analysis softwares, ELN and AI\nStrong scientific problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.\nExcellent record keeping and organisational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.\nThe ability to work independently with general supervision while collaborating effectively within a matrix and team environment.\nIf you want to work where science is changing lives, apply now.\nAbout CSL Behring\nCSL Behring is a global biotherapeutics leader driven by our promise to save lives.
