Every time we launch a new facility, we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.\nWe're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant, all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.\nWhy this role is different\nThis isn’t a typical HVAC job chasing random service calls.\nWork on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities\nPredictable environments → faster diagnostics, less guesswork\nMix of hands-on repair + system troubleshooting + facility support\nOpportunity to grow into Facilities or Regional leadership roles\nBe part of a rapidly growing operation in a $100B+ industry\nIndependent problem-solving with access to a collaborative support network (engineering, senior techs) for complex escalations\n\nWhat you’ll do\nHVAC/R & Facilities Maintenance\nPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites\nSupport refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems\nFacility Operations Support\nTravel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Greater Santa Ana Area\nConduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently\nHandle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed\nCoordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work\nSystem Performance & Troubleshooting\nUse Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues\nProvide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors\nReview reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance\nNew Site Support\nAssist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality\nIdentify issues early and coordinate corrective actions\nWhat your week looks like\n70% hands-on HVAC/R maintenance & repair\n 20% troubleshooting & diagnostics (onsite + remote)\n10% inspections, reporting, and system verification\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nRequired\n5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience\nExperience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(Walk-Ins)\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally\nPreferred\nHVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)\nExperience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities\nWorking knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems\nWork Environment & Schedule\nField-based role across the Greater Santa Area\nLocal travel between sites (home daily)\nMonday-Friday schedule with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities\nWhy join us \nDemand for online food delivery is growing really fast!
