Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.\nThe Student Record & Open Studies Coordinator reports to the Assistant Registrar, Enrolment Services and has a dual role within the Office of the Registrar. Coordinators utilize their specialized understanding of records, registration and fees policy and procedure to provide both direct and indirect student services and support student service units, such as student services, undergraduate faculties, departments and continuing education teaching departments.\nThrough all service provision, the coordinator ensures the accuracy and completeness of the student record. They provide Faculty Student Services for Open Studies students. Through the combined roles, the coordinator works to ensure that a ‘Student First’ experience is provided to the students of the University of Alberta. Coordinators work in a team environment that is composed of the Assistant Registrars, Specialists, and Coordinators.\n Support Registration across undergraduate and continuing education, providing lateral support for graduate studies by request. The Coordinator becomes an expert in registration transactions for individual students as well as mass processing.\nSupport students by understanding how their registration translates into academic status as well as impacts their fee assessment. Working within the team, they are experts in tuition and fee assessment across all careers.\nSupport the Faculty of Open Studies and give students direct support through their Open Studies career. This can include, but not limited to: approving withdrawals, reviewing deferred exams, approving grade changes and informing students of University policies and procedures.\nSupport Faculties, Departments and other Registrar's Office Units by applying expertise in policy and procedure related to Registration, Student Academic Records and Fees.
