This position is responsible for diagnosing and clearing drain and sewer problems for residential and commercial customers using professional drain-cleaning and inspection equipment.\nThis is a hands-on field position for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working independently, and willing to help with other field and underground utility work when needed.\nWhat You'll Do\nInspect, diagnose, clean, and clear drain and sewer blockages in residential and commercial buildings.\nOperate rotary cable machines, high-pressure water jetting equipment, and sewer inspection cameras.\nPerform drain cleaning on toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, floor drains, main sewer lines, and other plumbing fixtures.\nIdentify the source of drain and sewer problems and determine the appropriate method for clearing the blockage.\nExplain findings and completed work to customers in a professional manner.\nMaintain drain-cleaning machines, cameras, jetting equipment, hand tools, and other assigned equipment.\nKeep your service vehicle clean, fueled, organized, and properly stocked with tools and supplies.\nMaintain required service records, equipment logs, and other documentation.\nTravel to residential, commercial, and construction job sites as assigned.\nLoad and unload tools, materials, and equipment.\nAssist with excavation and underground utility work when required, including digging, material removal, backfilling, and site restoration.\nRestore and clean work areas after completing service or construction work.\nFollow company safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions at all times.\nArrive on time, communicate with supervisors, and complete assigned service calls efficiently.\nParticipate in on-the-job training and learn new equipment, techniques, and procedures.\nPerform other duties as needed to support field operations.\nWhat We're Looking For\n2+ years of experience as a Drain Cleaning Technician, Drain Technician, or Plumber preferred.\nExperience operating small and large drain-cleaning machines.\nExperience with sewer cameras and high-pressure jetting equipment is strongly preferred.\nAbility to troubleshoot drain and sewer problems in residential and commercial settings.\nWorking knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.\nUnderground utility or construction experience is a plus.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.\nAbility and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.\nDependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.\nStrong customer service and communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.\nAbility to perform physically demanding work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.\nMust be able to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.\nBenefits:\nExcellent pay\nMedical insurance for employees at a small cost\nHSA/FSA options\nDental and vision insurance at a minimal cost\nFree $25,000 life insurance policy\nShort-term and long-term disability insurance at a small cost\n401(k)\n$225 work boot allowance after 180 days\nPTO after 90 days\nYear-round work\nPaid holidays\nPaid maternity and paternity leave\nCompany-paid training and career development\nSafety-first culture\nAAP/EEO Statement: It is the policy of CST Utilities LLC to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
