You will make strategic decisions as a territory manager using real-time data, knowledge of your territory, and relationships with community members. You will connect with prospective students and families virtually and in person and through channels including email, phone, text, and video. You will serve as the face of the university at recruitment events, information sessions, and during off-campus engagements. This is a twelve-month, full-time permanent position with some travel and evening/weekend commitments. This position will remain open until filled.\nEssential Job Duties:\nRecruitment and Territory Management - 50%Manage a geographic recruitment territory by utilizing data, critical thinking and analysis, and intentional engagement with prospective students, families, and communities within the assigned territory.\nPlan and execute year-round recruitment travel (approximately 8-10 weeks), representing CSU at events such as high school visits, college fairs, one-on-one appointments, information sessions, and other recruitment events.\nApplication of integrity, inclusion, respect, service, and social justice in all parts of recruitment for CSU\n\nCounseling - 35%Counsel prospective students and their families/advocates through the enrollment process, including navigating campus systems, requirements, processes, and resources.\nRespond to phone, email, and text inquiries in a timely fashion.\n\nSupporting Programs, Events, and Visits - 10%Assist with recruitment programs, including visit days for prospective students and spring admitted student events.\nConduct presentations-both in-person and online-for prospective students and their families\n\nRecommending Admissions Decisions - 5%Evaluate applications for admission through a holistic review of the applicant’s academic record and supporting documents to recommend admissions decisions.\nOther duties and responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate.\n\nConditions of Employment:\nMust pass background check.\nMust maintain a valid drivers license or have access to a licensed driver at the time of application.\nSome work from home days will be permitted but this position is predominantly in-person.\nSupervision:\nPosition will not supervise anyone.\nRequired Qualifications:\nA Bachelor’s Degree.\nPast experience in admissions, college counseling, or B2C sales experience. \nCustomer service experience.\nDemonstrated presentation and public speaking skills.\nDemonstrated commitment to CSU's Principles of Community.\nAble to work irregular work hours, including nights and weekends.\nMaintain a valid Driver’s License or have access to a licensed driver at the time of application.\nAn understanding of the Land Grant Mission of Colorado State University.\nExperience working with diverse populations.\nApplication Instructions:\nPlease submit a resume (or CV) and cover letter detailing interest and qualifications of position.\nSalary Range\n50,000.00 - 52,000.00Required Application Documents\nTo apply, please upload the following applicant documents.
