Energy Systems \n2. Automotive Systems \n3. Transportation Systems \n4. Human Factors \n5. Cybersecurity \n6. Model-based Systems Engineering\n7. Design optimization, controls, and analytics \n8. Situational robotics and awareness\nMore job-specific information will be available as search committee members decide to hire from this open pool.\nThe open positions are temporary assignments. Assignments are 6-12 months, can be extended up to 2 years. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.\nLink to department website: https://www.engr.colostate.edu/se/.\nSalary Range:\n$58,000-$70,000\nEssential Job Duties:\nActively participating in the planning, measuring, analyzing, and publishing technical research results from funded research projects. \nEngaging in scholarly publication in conference proceedings and journal publications. \nSupporting technical presentation of related work.\nSupervision:\nPossibility of supervising graduate and/or undergraduate students.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nApplicants must hold a Ph.D. or documentation of completion of Ph.D. requirements in a related field by the position start date. \nRelevant research experience in related field. \nAdditional required qualifications and salary determined by the specific position to be filled.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAuthored or co-authored peer- reviewed manuscripts. \nExperience in multiple research models. \nEvidence of successful student mentoring in research environment. \nWillingness to work in a collaborative environment. \nDemonstrated ability to work as a part of a team. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nPrevious scholarly or industrial experience in the fields of systems engineering.\nApplication Instructions:\nTo apply, please submit: Curriculum Vitae/Resume, and a Cover letter addressing the required and preferred qualifications.\nThis is an open pool posting.
