This position will lead the Data & Analytics team, providing experienced technical design, data & analytics thought leadership, and recommended standard methodologies for developing solutions. Provides Low-tech / No-tech solutions where applicable.\nReview, analyze, and evaluate complex financial system and data capabilities for both current and future use.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and executive-level visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making.\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and manage large, complex data sets from multiple business and technology sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\n\nProven ability to partner effectively with Payroll, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Operations, Technology, and Finance stakeholders to deliver cross-functional business solutions.\n\nAbility to prioritize competing demands, manage critical deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\n\nExperience leading data-driven transformation initiatives and supporting organizational change through analytics and process improvement.\n\nPayroll systems expertise including Oracle Fusion Cloud and other timekeeping systems\n\nWork with Technology and business knowledge SMEs to develop an understanding about the existing data sources and the potential external data needs.\n\nOversee data access and organization efforts within the CFO organization to ensure that trusted data sources are available to the broader organization.\n\nDevelop a three-year analytics roadmap, in partnership with functional leaders, to modernize decision making tools within the CFO organization. Subsequently, carry out execution of the roadmap.\n\nFacilitate training to the organization on new analytics tools and processes.\n\nMiscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.\n\n Minimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree/4-year Degree\n\n3 or more years of supervisory experience in business analysis/architecture, systems analysis, data warehousing, business intelligence, operations research and/or financial systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nGraduate Degree\n\n5 or more years of supervisory experience in the railroad transportation industry in business analysis/architecture, systems analysis, data warehousing, business intelligence, operations research and/or financial systems\n\nFive or more years of experience utilizing SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools in large-scale enterprise environments.\nExperience supporting Payroll, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Operations functions through data analytics, workforce insights, and reporting solutions.\nDemonstrated success managing high-priority initiatives and delivering results under tight timelines and changing business conditions.\nKnowledge and Skills\nEffective written and oral communications skills\n\nExcellent project-management skills\n\nWorking knowledge of data modeling, warehousing and mining\n\nAptitude to synthesize large amounts of information, draw conclusions and develop innovative solutions\n\nBasic understanding of financial analysis and reporting processes\n\nAdept at learning and applying new technologies\n\nAbility to build strong relationships at all levels across the organization\n\nAdvanced proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Office Suite, Tableau, Alteryx, Oracle DBMS, TOAD for Oracle, SAS, and Focus Programming\n\nDriven, results oriented\n\nLeadership\nThe CSX Leadership Model is the foundation of our Talent Strategy and is what drives CSX performance.
