This role emphasizes cloud architecture, infrastructure configuration, systems integration, and the reliability and availability of cloud-hosted services.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze system requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level architectures to develop cloud infrastructure specifications.\nDesign and implement cloud-based system architectures supporting application migration, microservices, and containerized environments.\nConfigure, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, preferably within AWS environments.\nDevelop system requirements and interface specifications to support integration between cloud services and existing applications.\nSupport the integration of messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ and Kafka across cloud-based systems.\nPlan and implement deployment strategies to ensure high availability, reliability, and system performance.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure and application integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.\nManage system configuration baselines, evaluate technical risks, and coordinate changes to system requirements.\nDevelop and maintain system architecture documentation, interface control documents, and integration and test plans.\nGenerate after-action reports documenting identified issues, new requirements, and improvements to Tier 1 standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.\nRecent experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.\nExperience designing, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.\nExperience supporting application migrations to cloud environments.\nExperience with microservices and containerized architectures.\nExperience integrating systems using ActiveMQ and/or Kafka.\nExperience designing and supporting high-availability cloud environments.\nExperience with systems engineering, architecture development, requirements analysis, and system integration.\nExperience troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.\n Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nFourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.\nPay Information\nThe final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications.
