In this role, you will help design and secure complex computing environments, identify vulnerabilities, assess security risks, and develop practical mitigation strategies. You will work alongside engineers, architects, and Government customers to build security into systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nLocations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade\nResponsibilities\nServe as a security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave environments\nHelp design and integrate Information Assurance (IA) architectures, systems, and security components\nProvide security engineering leadership throughout system design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration\nApply IA policies, procedures, and security best practices to develop secure and resilient computing environments\nCollaborate directly with Government customers, engineers, architects, and other technical team members\nEvaluate system architectures and recommend security solutions that meet mission and operational requirements\nSupport the design and implementation of trusted relationships between interconnected systems and architectures\nConduct security planning, technical assessments, risk analysis, and risk management activities\nIdentify security requirements for protecting and properly handling Government data\nAssess vulnerabilities and security risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies\nDesign secure systems and networks spanning multiple enclaves and differing data protection or classification requirements\nDevelop system-level solutions to address complex security requirements\nHelp ensure security is incorporated throughout the system engineering and development lifecycle\nRequirements\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance\nBachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nCISSP Certification is required.\nLevel 2 Qualifications\nFourteen (14) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nIASAE Level 2 (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP) & CISSP Certification required\n Level 3 QualificationsTwenty (20) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience.\n\nIASAE Level 3 (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP) & CISSP + ISSEP Certifications required.\n#CJ\nWhy CTC Group?\nWe recognize that successful partnerships are based on open and direct communication, mutual respect, and the ability to adapt to evolving capabilities.
