In this role, you will design and develop new capabilities, improve existing applications, troubleshoot software issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions across analytics, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, and other mission environments.\nLocations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented mission and technical requirements\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements\nDesign and code new software and modify existing applications to add capabilities and improve performance\nDebug existing software, investigate software problem reports, and resolve defects\nIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments\nReview and test software components to ensure they meet design and performance requirements\nDevelop and execute software test procedures and document test results\nDevelop database queries and interfaces for existing or proposed databases and data repositories\nApply software development and design methodologies appropriate to the technical environment\nAnalyze system performance, data usage, workflows, and technical constraints to develop effective software solutions\nCollaborate with systems and hardware engineers to define software requirements, interfaces, and technical approaches\nEvaluate hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and the use of COTS/GOTS solutions\nDevelop and maintain software and system documentation\nRecommend and implement improvements to software development processes, standards, and documentation\nFor senior-level positions, provide technical leadership, oversee software development activities, and ensure the quality of developed and modified software\nRequirements\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nLevel 0 Qualifications\nNo demonstrated experience is required.\nLevel 1 Qualifications\nSeven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nLevel 2 Qualifications\nFourteen (14) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nLevel 3 Qualifications\nTwenty (20) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\n#CJ\nWhy CTC Group?\nWe recognize that successful partnerships are based on open and direct communication, mutual respect, and the ability to adapt to evolving capabilities.
