In this role, you will help define technical requirements, evaluate system designs, develop engineering solutions, and work directly with Government stakeholders to address technical challenges across concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.\nLocations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade\nResponsibilities\nApply systems engineering principles throughout the full system lifecycle, from concept and development through deployment, sustainment, and retirement\nAnalyze system requirements, architectures, and technical alternatives to develop effective engineering solutions\nDevelop and deliver systems engineering work products across technical, project, enterprise, and acquisition-related process areas\nEvaluate technical approaches and recommend alternatives that improve system design, integration, and mission performance\nCollaborate with Government customers, program personnel, engineers, and senior stakeholders to resolve technical issues and conflicts\nSupport requirements analysis, architectural design, integration, verification, validation, risk management, and configuration management activities\nIndependently analyze complex technical problems and recommend solutions for elements of system and project design\nEvaluate new technologies, engineering approaches, and solutions for suitability within mission environments\nDevelop and recommend engineering standards, processes, and best practices for assigned projects\nCoordinate or supervise the work of engineers and technical personnel on complex engineering efforts\nBrief stakeholders on technical status, risks, issues, and recommended courses of action\nMake independent engineering decisions regarding technical approaches, methodologies, and project execution\nLead systems engineering activities and provide technical direction to engineering teams on advanced efforts\nFor senior-level positions, provide subject matter expertise and resolve complex engineering issues involving advanced technologies and high-priority mission capabilities\nRequirements\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance\nLevel 2 Qualifications\nA Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.\n OR: A High School Diploma or GED plus eight (8) years of general system engineering experience.\n OR: A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.\n OR: A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field
