This role focuses on Java and Python development, service-oriented architectures, microservices, containerization, and database integration to support complex software systems.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications and services.\nDevelop and integrate software solutions using service-oriented architectures and microservices.\nBuild, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nDesign and implement database interfaces and queries using MongoDB or MySQL.\nDevelop, modify, and maintain software components using Python.\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.\nDebug existing software, resolve defects, and optimize application performance within Linux environments.\nIntegrate software components into new or existing systems and develop and execute software testing procedures.\nUtilize Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, to track requirements, manage development activities, and maintain technical documentation.\nCollaborate with systems engineers and development teams to evaluate software integration, system performance, and design improvements.\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.\nExperience developing enterprise applications using Java.\nExperience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience designing and implementing service-oriented architectures and microservices.\nExperience with MongoDB or MySQL databases.\nExperience developing software using Python.\nExperience developing, deploying, and troubleshooting applications in Linux environments.\nExperience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, for requirements tracking and documentation.\nExperience with software integration, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.\nExperience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nSeven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.\nPay Information\nThe final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications.
