This highly visible SETA role supports government leadership in developing systems-of-systems architectures, managing technical requirements, improving engineering processes, and coordinating complex Agile initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain enterprise architecture documentation, systems engineering plans, technical reference designs, and other engineering artifacts.\nEstablish and manage technical governance processes, including Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), Technical Needs (TNs), and engineering decision frameworks.\nSupport systems-of-systems integration, technical baseline management, requirements traceability, and architectural alignment across multiple engineering organizations.\nCoordinate operational requirements and technical priorities among program offices, engineering teams, government stakeholders, and mission partners.\nFacilitate large-scale SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning events across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), including planning, execution, and after-action activities.\nDevelop and automate enterprise workflows, dashboards, requirements management processes, and reporting capabilities using Jira and Confluence.\nEvaluate technical policies, architectures, engineering risks, and governance processes to identify improvements and recommend courses of action.\nProvide technical advisory support to senior leadership through executive briefings, governance documentation, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance (polygraph must be current and completed within the past 7 years).\nDegree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, subject to applicable education/experience substitutions.\nExperience supporting DoD systems engineering initiatives, enterprise architecture, or complex systems-of-systems environments.\nExpert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including dashboard development, workflow automation, and requirements management.\nExperience with SAFe, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and large-scale Program Increment (PI) Planning.\nExperience developing technical governance documentation, including SOPs, MFRs, Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), and systems engineering plans.\nKnowledge of DoD acquisition policies, systems engineering lifecycle processes, and the Adaptive Acquisition Framework.\nFamiliarity with Mattermost and enterprise collaboration tools.\nSAFe certification or formal SAFe training preferred; CISSP certification also preferred.\nExperience RequirementsHS Diploma/GED or Associate's degree with 20 years of relevant experience, or\nBachelor's degree and 18 years of relevant experience, or\nMaster's degree and 15 years of relevant experience\nPay Information\nThe final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications.
