You will work on backend services that support Edge IoT devices used by customers across a variety of industries. Depending on the project, you may contribute to REST APIs, device integrations, data processing, testing tools, or our IoT platform.\nRequirements\nAt least one year of commercial experience in backend development, preferably using Python.\nSolid understanding of Python fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and error handling.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs and how backend services communicate.\nFamiliarity with a Python web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.\nUnderstanding of core programming concepts and debugging techniques.\nBasic knowledge of databases and data persistence.\nFamiliarity with Linux as a development environment.\nGood experience with Git as a version control system.\nInterest in IoT and connected devices, with experience using microcontrollers, development boards, or an RTOS.\nBasic understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or similar.\nInterest in experimenting with AI-powered development tools and reviewing the code they produce.\nAbility to communicate clearly, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team.\nCuriosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.\nResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend software under the guidance of experienced engineers.\nImplement features, fix bugs, and improve existing code.\nBuild and maintain REST APIs and integrations with databases and other services.\nContribute to services that receive, process, and store data from Edge IoT devices.\nInvestigate backend and device integration issues using logs, debuggers, and testing tools.\nWrite and maintain unit and integration tests.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning.\nCreate clear technical documentation for implemented features and development workflows.\n Nice to HaveKnowledge or experience with Docker.\nExperience with Zephyr RTOS.\nHobby projects with Arduino, ESP32, nRF52, or similar
