The technician will be tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of Ctrack units and other authorized products. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting devices installed within vehicles.\nMain Job Functions:\nConducting all pre and post-inspections in line with department/branch requirements.\nInstallation, repair, and servicing of all units and company-approved products in line with company policies and procedures.\nEnsuring compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and all Company Policies and Procedures. Request training from the HR Team if there are any concerns.\nCompleting any administrative tasks as requested by management and making use of the various systems required by the company.\nBehavioural Competencies and Technical Competencies:\nTechnical KnowledgeUnderstanding of installation procedures and techniques\n\nCommunication SkillsClear verbal and written communication with team members,\ncustomers, and management.\n\nAdaptabilityAdapts to changes in project requirements, schedules, or\nenvironments without compromising quality or safety.\n\nProblem-Solving AbilitiesQuickly identifies issues or challenges during installations and works\nproactively to find solutions.\n\nSafety AwarenessDemonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines\nDuring installations.\n\nMicrosoft Office - Intermediate\nQualifications and Experience:\nMinimum Matric or equivalent.\nAutotronics or Auto Electrical Qualification or Experience would be anadvantage.\n\nMinimum of two years of relevant work experience.\nValid Drivers' License\nMedical Requirements\nMust be physically and medically fit for mining operations.\nValid mine medical certificate is an advantage.\nCondition of Employment: Securing mine access is dependent on passing the official mine medical examination.
