Collaborates with both internal and external entities. \n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \nAssists on projects within Process Engineering and Development related to new allograft development, recovery, and processing method improvements.\nCollect and analyze data using statistical tools.\nAssist in transitioning new/improved processes into production.\nAssists with the preparation of reports and manuscripts for publication internal or external review.\nAssists with surgical procedures in support of pre-clinical research projects as needed.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory authorities, following standard practices and procedures.\nProvide recommendations for work instructions, job aids and policies, and assist in modification/development of same.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma and currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program (or higher) from an accredited university in an applicable discipline (i.e., engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, etc.) or other closely related scientific area.\nAbility to solve and analyze technical problems and give recommendations. \nDetail oriented, organized, and capable of accurately documenting work using excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong PC skills including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).\nAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships across functional organizations.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES\nPosition requires exposure to gross anatomy. \nMust be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n1. Experience with biomechanical testing of musculoskeletal tissue.\n2. Experience with cell/tissue culture, histology, and/or executing biochemical assays.\n3. Previous exposure to human anatomy/physiology.\n4. Experience using aseptic technique in clinical or scientific environment.\n5.
