Explore more on Cubic.com.\nJob Details:\nJob Summary:\nCubic | Nuvotronics’ Assembly Department is responsible for the electro-mechanical assembly of our PolyStrata® products, using both automated equipment and skilled manual processes. As a Technician II within this team, you will be responsible for supporting prototype and production builds. You will need to exercise judgement on builds and make recommendations to the engineering staff. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.\nPrevious experience with manual assembly work of electronic devices is preferred, particularly experience assembling miniature devices under microscopes.\nThis role is for first shift. Expected hours are from 7:00AM to 4:30PM. Nuvotronics works a 9/80 schedule.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssembles electronic components requiring moderate to complex wiring, soldering, and connecting, often under microscopes\nReads and interprets moderately complex notes, schematics, parts lists, and wiring diagrams\nSets up, operates, and maintains equipment required to build, repair, and troubleshoot electronic subassemblies and assemblies.\nAdheres to internal and external process standards and quality systems\nTroubleshoots and corrects failures requiring moderate levels of skill for solution\nAssists in design and process modifications by compiling data related to manufacturing\nDevelops information concerning previous failures and modifications. Identifies inconsistencies or gaps in data and seeks sources to clarify information, including devising experiments to determine a solution\nCommunicates progress utilizing intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nTwo-year college degree, military technical training, or equivalent is preferred.\nA minimum of two years direct electronic experience in digital and analog circuitry or radio frequency components.\nIntermediate level computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. \nAbility to understand and perform moderately complex technical phases of work.\nAbility to read and interpret technical materials.\nAbility to communicate with general engineering staff, verbally and written.\nAbility to use hand tools and assembly equipment.\nMay be required to work weekends and holidays to support customer needs.\nMust be eligible to obtain a DOD security clearance\n\nCubic Pay Range:\n$18.00 - $25.00 + benefits.\nThe Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
