Explore more on Cubic.com.\nJob Details:\nJob Summary: Responsible for assisting Program Managers in execution of multiple program tasks. Tracks program tasks against budget and schedule. Supports the program management staff in the preparation of deliverables, internal reports, briefings, and other requirements associated with the project being supported. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupports management of programs in accordance with the contract, policies, procedures and department instructions.\nSupports the program managers in ensuring contracts are met in the most efficient and profitable manner.\nSupports program execution to meet technical performance within cost and schedule.\nSupports and monitors all elements of the assigned program activities from inception to completion including proposal development, product design, procurement, subcontracting, manufacturing, testing, delivery, installation and acceptance of the products.\nSupports the program managers in performing the following tasks: monthly status reports; filing documents; liaises with other Company support groups; Program Management Review (PMR) slides; provides meeting logistic support, including the development of agendas, phone contacts, meeting minutes and action item tracking; assists in developing customer presentations.\nSupports ongoing business/marketing efforts of the Product Line’s products and services by helping with information papers, basic marketing material, proposal generation, and some customer interface.\nEnsures early or on-time deliveries of all required project/program documentation (CDRLs, etc.).\nMonitors programs’ Action Items (AI) lists and ensures timely completion of open AIs.\nEffectively supports a program within a project or matrix organization.\nPerforms Earned Value Management tasks.\nPerforms financial management to ensure that profit is earned and cash collected.\nActively performs risk management and pursues risk reduction on assigned programs.\nIdentifies program issues to the program manager with sufficient lead for timely resolution.\nDevelops proposals for new business.\nCoordinates proposal development, statements of work, specification development and major subcontract management.\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nFour year college degree, or equivalent, in a business discipline, plus a minimum of two years of related experience. MBA is desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. \nMust have Primavera P6 experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; MS Project desired. \nAbility to develop an understanding of engineering, operations, systems integration and test, quality assurance, configuration management, logistics, contracts administration, standard business practices, finance, and the relationship of programs within a portfolio.\nAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and make presentations. \nRequires knowledge of government procurement, contracting, and standards and specifications. \nAbility to obtain a security clearance \nThe description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
