Explore more on Cubic.com.\nJob Details:\nJob Summary:\nPerform receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections in accordance with defined requirements.\nPerform inspections on primarily metal fabrication parts, electronics, partially assembled electronic modules, and fully assembled modules\nMaintain inspection throughput to meet site revenue plans.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nReview inspection plans, engineering drawings, and specifications for all material requirements.\nDocument and quarantine all non-conforming products in accordance with established process (SAP Quality Notification, discrepancy logs, etc.).\nReceiving Inspection:Perform incoming materials inspection according out sampling plan as outlined in SAP.\nReview accuracy of certificate of conformance according to product requirements.\nPerform First Article inspections (FAI) and create FAI reports.\n\nIn-Process Inspection:Perform in process inspection according to specifications as outlined in work instructions and engineering drawings.\nProvide inspection findings feedback to assembly team.\n\nFinal and Shipping Inspection:Inspect final inspection according to production and delivery priorities.\n\nEnsure smooth movements of products and inventories between quality, production, testing, and warehouse.\nImprove and optimize inspection plans or methods.\nTrain and mentor junior inspectors.\nAdhere to safety and electrostatic control protocols.\nKey Qualifications:\nTwo-year college degree or 2 years of working experience in manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or quality control.\n3-5 years of experience as Quality Inspector in technical industry.\nDemonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, data specifications, and inspection instructions.\nDemonstrated ability to use measurement tools: caliper, micrometer, multi-meter, and microscopes.\nDemonstrated advance ability to use advance measuring techniques (CMM, Keyence, FARO arm, etc.).\nDemonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the workday.\nRequires 20/20 vision or correctable to 20/20 and normal vision.\nExperience and knowledge of ISO9001 compliance standards strongly preferred\nQuality Inspector Certification a plus.\nIPC-JSTD and/or IPC-610 certification strongly preferred\n\nCubic Pay Range:\n$25.00 - $30.00 + benefits.\nThe Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
