Explore more on Cubic.com.\nJob Details:\nThe Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role involves performing root cause analysis, driving corrective and preventive actions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to ISO standards. Proficiency in SAP and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred to effectively manage quality data, improve processes, and reduce variation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct inspections and quality audits in accordance with ISO and company standards.\nUtilize SAP to manage quality notifications, track nonconformances, and monitor supplier and production quality data.\nPerform detailed root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive action activities (CAPA).\nApply Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and defect prevention.\nSupport new product introductions by reviewing specifications, inspection plans, and quality requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure quality objectives are met.\nPrepare and maintain quality reports, metrics, and documentation for management and customer reviews.\nSupport supplier quality activities, including audits, inspections, and issue resolution.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.\n3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline.\nHands-on experience with SAP in quality management functions.\nStrong knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.\nExperience with inspection methods, measurement tools, and statistical techniques.\nThe description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
