This role involves collaborating with suppliers to improve quality performance, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Job Details:\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain supplier quality management systems in compliance with industry standards and company requirements.\nEvaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.\nConduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.\nCollaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitor supplier performance and generate reports on key quality metrics.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and production, to address supplier-related quality issues.\nDevelop and deliver training programs to suppliers on quality standards and best practices.\nLead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for supplier-related quality issues.\nEnsure timely and effective communication with suppliers regarding quality expectations and performance feedback.\nStay updated on industry trends and advancements in supplier quality management practices.\nUtilize SAP for supplier quality management activities, including data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. OR equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.\nFive (5)+ years of experience in supplier quality management or a related role.\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949), and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).\nProven experience in conducting supplier audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nProficiency in quality management software and tools.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertification in Quality Engineering (CQE), Quality Management (CQM), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).\nExperience in the Manufacturing industry.\nFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and standards specific to the Manufacturing industry.\nThe description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
