Strong systems thinking is essential, but so is strong visual craft.\nWe're looking for someone who can determine what should be built, how it should work, and what the final product should look and feel like.\nThis is not a role where you hand off a workflow diagram or wireframe and move on. You'll own the experience from discovery and problem definition through polished, implementation-ready designs.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn end-to-end product design for complex internal operational tools, many of which may eventually extend into client-facing experiences.\nTurn manual and ambiguous processes currently handled through tickets, spreadsheets, notes, conversations, and human judgment into structured product workflows.\nPartner closely with product, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to understand how processes work today and determine how they should work in software.\nDefine the underlying structure of complex experiences, including:\nUser flows and information architecture\nRoles and permissions\nApproval paths\nSystem states and edge cases\nBusiness rules\nConfiguration models\nError and exception handling\nAsk strong questions during discovery and challenge assumptions when requirements are unclear, incomplete, or unnecessarily complicated.\nDetermine what should be solved through UX, what should be configurable, and what logic belongs within the underlying system.\nCreate wireframes and interactive prototypes to validate workflows before moving into detailed design.\nDesign polished, production-ready interfaces in Figma.\nDesign real operational UI, including forms, tables, dashboards, navigation, configuration interfaces, admin controls, filters, bulk actions, permissions, empty states, error states, and loading states.\nCollaborate closely with engineering throughout implementation to resolve details and ensure the shipped product reflects the intended experience.\nHelp establish reusable components, patterns, and design standards across a growing multi-product platform.\nDesign experiences that serve both internal operators who need power, efficiency, and flexibility and end users who need clarity and simplicity.\nWhat We're Looking For\nYou have strong product design experience working on complex software products, particularly in areas such as:\nB2B SaaS\nInternal tools\nAdmin platforms\nEnterprise software\nWorkflow-heavy applications\nConfiguration-heavy systems\nYou should be comfortable taking a vague business problem and independently turning it into:\nProblem Definition → Workflow → System Model → UX → Polished UI → Implementation-Ready Design\nStrong candidates will have experience with:\nProduct and UX discovery\nComplex workflow design\nInformation architecture\nInteraction design\nHigh-quality visual UI design\nForms and configuration experiences\nTables and data-heavy interfaces\nRole-based access and permissions\nApproval workflows\nEdge cases and system states\nDesign systems and reusable components\nPrototyping in Figma\nCross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations\nStrong Visual Craft Is Required\nThis is not a purely visual design role, but visual design is an essential part of the job.\nWe need someone who can untangle a complicated workflow and create the right system behind it-and then turn that thinking into a polished, intuitive, professional product interface.\nYou'll be expected to own both the underlying UX logic and the final UI.\nA designer who creates beautiful screens but struggles with systems thinking will not be successful in this role.\nLikewise, a designer who is strong at research, diagrams, and wireframes but cannot produce high-quality final product designs will not be successful.\nWe're looking for someone who can do both.\nYou'll Be Designing for Complexity\nMany of our products operate in environments where seemingly simple actions can have significant downstream consequences.\nYou'll need to naturally think through questions such as:\nWho is allowed to perform this action?\nDoes someone else need to approve it?\nWhat happens if the request is rejected?\nWhat changes depending on the client, user, location, or role?\nWhat should be configurable versus hardcoded?\nWhat information does an internal operator need that an end user shouldn't see?\nWhat happens when something fails halfway through a workflow?\nHow do we make a powerful system simple without removing necessary flexibility?\nWe're looking for a designer who naturally considers these questions while designing-not only after problems arise.\nNice to Have\nExperience with any of the following is a plus:\nMSP or IT operations\nIT service management\nProvisioning\nDevice or inventory management\nProcurement\nApproval systems\nEnterprise administration\nMulti-tenant SaaS\nSecurity-sensitive products\nRule-based or configuration-heavy software\nAI-assisted design and development workflows\nPrior MSP experience is not required. However, you should be comfortable learning operationally complex domains and translating them into understandable software experiences.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou're able to take a process currently managed through tickets, spreadsheets, notes, tribal knowledge, and human judgment and turn it into a productized workflow with clear rules and minimal ambiguity.\nYou understand that scalable product design isn't just about designing screens.\nYou think about: Systems. Rules. Metadata. Permissions. Configuration. Edge cases. Reusable patterns.\nYou consider how the product will evolve-not only what it needs to accomplish today.\nAt the same time, you care deeply about the quality of the interface users actually experience.\nYour work makes complicated systems feel understandable without hiding the complexity that operators genuinely need.\nYou can effectively design for both:\nInternal operators, who need efficiency, visibility, control, and flexibility.\nEnd users, who need simplicity, guidance, and confidence.\nMost importantly, you can partner closely with engineering to turn those designs into real, shipped software.\nWhat This Role Is Not\nThis is not primarily a branding or marketing design role.\nThis is not a UX-only role that stops at research, journey maps, flows, or wireframes.\nThis is not a purely visual role where requirements are handed to you and your job is simply to make them look better.\nThis is not a junior production design role.\nWe're looking for a Product Designer who can understand the problem, design the system, and design the actual product.\nRequirements\nRequired\n3+ years of Product Design experience building B2B SaaS, enterprise software, internal tools, or workflow-driven products.\nProven ability to take ambiguous business problems from discovery through shipped product.\nStrong systems-thinking skills with experience defining workflows, permissions, approvals, business rules, configurations, system states, and edge cases.\nExperience designing complex operational software, including forms, tables, dashboards, admin tools, and configuration interfaces.\nStrong UX, interaction design, information architecture, and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong visual design skills with the ability to create polished, production-ready interfaces.\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and design systems.\nExperience collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operational stakeholders.\nAbility to lead discovery, ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions, and clarify requirements.\nPortfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from problem definition → workflow design → UX → final UI → implementation.\nPreferred\nExperience with enterprise software, internal tools, workflow automation, configuration-heavy systems, or multi-tenant SaaS.\nExperience designing role-based access, approval workflows, and administrative platforms.\nFamiliarity with MSP, IT Operations, ITSM, provisioning, procurement, inventory, or asset management systems.\nExperience designing security-sensitive or rules-based products.\nExperience using AI-assisted design and product development workflows.\nBenefits\n Competitive pay with performance-based growth \n Paid time off and company holidays \n Health, dental, and vision insurance options \n 401(k) retirement plan with company match \n On-site gym for employee wellness \n Modern, collaborative office environment \n Ongoing training and professional development \n Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology \n Team events and employee appreciation initiatives \n Strong company culture focused on innovation and teamwork","description_format":"text","description_chars":8912,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Professional
