bottlenecks, measure system capacity, and provide performance recommendations before release or customer deployment.\nWhat is the role about?\nKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute load, stress, scalability, spike, and failover performance tests for HES/MDM product\nCreate realistic test scenarios covering:\nZONOS API and Southbound API\nVEE processing\nMDUS / data ingestion flows\nDevice events, alarms, meter reads, topology, and profile data\nKafka/streaming pipelines\nDatabase-heavy operations\nZCP user workflows where relevant\nDefine performance KPIs such as:response time\nthroughput\ntransactions per second\nmessage ingestion rate\nprocessing latency\nCPU/memory usage\ndatabase load\nKafka lag\nerror rate\nqueue depth\nMaintain load test scripts using tools such as “JMeter, k6, Simulator and Mock serve”.Monitor performance using tools such as “ Prometheus, Grafana”.\nAnalyze bottlenecks across:\nAPIs\ndatabase queries\nKafka topics/partitions\nbackend services\nVEE jobs\nprocess engine\nnetwork and infrastructure\nJVM/container resources\nPrepare detailed performance reports with findings, risks, recommendations, comparison with previous versions and release readiness conclusions.Work with QA, DevOps, backend developers, product owners, and customer delivery teams to define acceptance criteria and performance baselines.\nRequired skills and qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in performance testing, load testing, or performance engineering.\nHad experience in the Energy Management utility (Meter data management, HES ….)\nStrong understanding of:\nREST APIs\nauthentication flows\nasynchronous processing\nqueues and event streaming\ndistributed systems\nmicroservices performance behavior\nExperience with monitoring and observability:Prometheus\nGrafana\nJVM or container metrics\nGood knowledge of databases and query performance, preferably in addition to good knowledge about system setup:PostgreSQL\nOracle\nExperience testing high-volume data ingestion, messaging, or IoT/AMI/utility platforms is highly preferred.Ability to analyze logs, metrics, traces, and system behavior under load.\nStrong scripting skills in at least one language:\nPython\nJavaScript\nGroovy\nBash\nJava\nPreferred skills and qualifications\nSkills with:Kafka performance testing\nAMI / smart metering systems\nMDMS / MDM platforms\nVEE validation and estimation workloads\nDLMS/COSEM concepts\nlarge-scale device
