Our team is in the office 3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for backend-leaning full-stack engineers who love building delightful and performant products, are excited to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and want to collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team!\nRequirements\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including prior experience at an early or mid stage startup.\n Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).\nProven track record of building performant, data-intensive applications using a strongly typed backend language in a complex domain.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong product sense and high customer empathy; genuine desire to build the best possible product for our users.\nExcels at thoughtful API design and database schema/query design.\nExperience with integrating Backend APIs with a TypeScript/React frontend.\nAbility to work independently and successfully own large or ambiguous problem areas.\nEffective verbal and written communication for both technical and nontechnical audiences.\nExperience with online payments, consumer facing flows, or reporting/analytics for large datasets.\n(Nice-to-Have) Experience building AI-enabled features in SaaS products.\nAbout the Role\nThis role reports directly to the Head of Engineering.
