As an Inside Sales Support Specialist, you will focus on supporting both our sales and customer service operations by helping with quote generation, order processing, credit card payments, and offering support to outside sales personnel, while providing exceptional service via phone and email and working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\nCustomer Support and Order Processing:\nAssist customers with product inquiries and generate accurate quotes based on their needs.\nProcess customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.\nFollow up with customers to ensure orders are processed and delivered as expected.\nProvide exceptional customer support via phone and email, addressing inquiries, issues, and concerns.\nResolve customer problems in a timely, professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.\nSales and Communication Support:\nAssist Account Managers and outside sales representatives by preparing quotes and orders.\nProvide information on product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.\nCoordinate with the warehouse, shipping, and billing teams to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.\nCommunicate effectively with other internal departments to address customer needs and resolve issues.\n\nCustomer Experience and Administrative Tasks:\nContinuously identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and increase customer satisfaction.\nSuggest improvements to internal processes that would lead to more efficient operations and better service delivery.\nAct as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure all customer concerns are heard and resolved promptly.\nPerform other administrative duties as needed to support the sales and customer service departments.\nWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience\n2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar role.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nFluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. \nAbility to support Spanish-speaking customers and provide customer service in both languages.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nA positive, can-do attitude with a passion for customer service.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience with order processing, quoting, and payment processing.\nExperience with Salesforce and SAP software.\nEducation & Certifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAssociates degree preferred\nTravel & Working Environment\nHybrid Role\nOffice and Home Environment\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
