Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.\n Responsible for coordination of all domestic outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation and maintaining associated records.\nDuties:\nFollow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.\nPackage and prepare outgoing shipments, including palletizing if required.\nUse UPS Worldship to prepare pick up for outgoing shipments\nSchedule with other local carriers for outgoing shipments, ie FedEx, DHL\nInvoice customers\nAssist with unloading of delivery trucks, when necessary.\nMaintain clean, tidy and safe workplace.\nAbide by company and OHSA regulations/policies.\nAdvise manager on implementing changes.\nAdvises manager of risks or potential hazards as required.\nEnsure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.\nCo-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers\nPerform any other duties as reasonably directed.\nMinimum Position Requirements:\nHigh School diploma\nMinimum of 2 or more years’ experience in warehouse setting\nForklift License, training provided by Sealite as needed\nComputer skills including Microsoft Office\nMechanical aptitude with attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nDOT CFR 49 and IATA training for Dangerous Goods/Hazmat Recommended\nAbility to lift 50lbs\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
