With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.\nWith over 30 years’ experience in the industry, Cooling Towers & Accessories is a leading national and international supplier and partner providing cooling solutions that integrate seamlessly and efficiently within an engineered system.\nThe Role\nDue to our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Service Technician to join our Service team working both in Ireland and Northern Ireland. In the role of Service Technician you will provide onsite customer technical support.\nRole & Responsibilities:\nPerform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements\nCarry out start-up / installation / commissioning\nCompetently troubleshoot, fault-find and carry out repairs to equipment as required\nSupport customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments in order to improve product performance with a view to increasing the level of customer satisfaction\nProvide on-site customer instruction in the application, maintenance and operation of the products\nPerform emergency and scheduled maintenance as required\nCreate Service Reports on work completed for sign off\nResponsible for proper preparation prior to responding to any field request, including but not limited to; travel requests, security information, checking of records, installation records, required tools etc\nAdhere to site rules and participate in customer site inductions\nComply with all requirements for business processes including timesheets, site visit reports, expense reports and all other documentation in line with internal procedures\nExperience & Education:\nExperience in a similar role will be a distinct advantage\nIdeally have an Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Qualification\nHave a strong fault-finding ability\nDemonstrate a good understanding and appreciation for the requirements of a Service Engineer delivering excellent customer service and taking ownership and accountability for this\nRole Requirements:\nWillingness to travel to client sites in the designated territories (Ireland and UK) and at short notice. Frequent travel for extended periods is required\nMust be physically able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, move equipment\nMust possess good written and oral communication skills\nMust have a valid passport, clean driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles\nSafe Pass (full training will be provided)\nMust be computer literate and operate basic Microsoft Office programs.\nService Technicians are required to travel frequently.
