We seek a highly motivated and collaborative scholar with a research focus that advances the fields of health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, medication safety, real-world data science, pharmacogenomics, or pharmacovigilance.\nThis position offers an outstanding opportunity to develop an independent, externally funded research program within a vibrant academic community. The successful candidate will contribute to the School’s mission of improving patient care and public health through innovative research and education.\nResponsibilities:\nThe appointee is expected to:\n(a) develop and maintain an independent, rigorous, and externally funded research programme;\n(b) publish scholarly work in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals;\n(c) contribute to the teaching mission of the School by instructing professional (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and graduate (Master of Clinical Pharmacy, MPhil and PhD in Pharmacy) students in relevant areas;\n(d) mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows;\n(e) provide service to the School, College, University, and the broader professional community; and\n(f) other academic and professional duties assigned by the School Director.\nRequired Qualifications:\nApplicants should have:\n(i) a PharmD, PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree in pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes research, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, or a closely related discipline;\n(ii) a strong record of scholarly achievement, demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals relevant to the stated research fields;\n(iii) evidence of potential to secure independent external research funding;\n(iv) excellent written and verbal communication skills; and\n(v) a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse body of students.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nApplicants with the following will have an advantage:\n(i) postdoctoral research experience or equivalent;\n(ii) a proven record of, or strong potential for, interdisciplinary collaboration; and\n(iii) experience in teaching or teaching assistant role in the pharmacy-related fields at the university level.\nReview of applications will commence in February 2026 and continue until the post is filled.
